Tony Fadell
Founder
Tony Fadell is the founder of Future Shape and Nest, and the co-creator of the iPod and iPhone. Tony’s first role in Silicon Valley was at General Magic, where he helped map out the future for mobile devices. He then became CTO of Philips at just 24 years old, before founding mobile tech start-up Fuse. In 2001 Tony joined Apple, where he was instrumental in turning around the company’s fortunes by developing the iPod and then the iPhone. In 2010 he co-founded Nest Labs, and created the Nest Learning Thermostat along with other pioneering smart home tech. In 2014, Google acquired Nest for $3.2 billion. He has since founded Future Shape, a global investment and advisory firm.
