Frank McCourt

Frank H. McCourt, Jr. is a civic entrepreneur and executive chairman of McCourt Global, a family company focused on real estate, sports, technology, media, and capital investment, with a strong emphasis on philanthropy. Continuing his family’s 130-year legacy of combining social impact with financial success, Frank founded Project Liberty, a $500 million initiative aimed at reclaiming control of the digital age through the development of the Decentralized Social Networking Protocol (DSNP). He also established the Project Liberty Institute to promote research and governance for a more equitable internet. A longtime supporter of Georgetown University, Frank made significant investments to create and expand the McCourt School of Public Policy. He owns the French football club Olympique de Marseille, previously owned the Los Angeles Dodgers, and has led various real estate developments worldwide. Frank is a Georgetown graduate, husband to Monica McCourt, and father of seven. In 2024, he published his first book, OUR BIGGEST FIGHT: Reclaiming Liberty, Humanity, and Dignity in the Digital Age.
